PROPERTY Company of Friends Inc. (PRO-FRIENDS), one of the fastest growing property developers, awarded a house and lot to “PRO-FRIENDS ka rin ba?” to winner Marlon Marian on October 30.
As PRO-FRIENDS gears up for it’s 15th year in the real estate industry next year, the developer helps hardworking Filipinos achieve their dream of owning a home. This is in line with the developer’s mission of creating communities and transforming lives.
Launched in February, the contest called for 90-seconds video essays from Filipinos. They were given the chance to nominate a friend or relative and persuade PRO-FRIENDS that the nominee deserves a PRO-FRIENDS home.
Mariano was nominated by his sister Marjorie, who saw the struggles of the elder brother in raising his children while providing for their needs through his seafaring profession. Mariano’s entry bested 18 others, winning a Sophie house model from Lancaster New City.
Sophie is a 52-square meter, single-attached house on an 80-sq-m lot. The house features three bedrooms, two toilets and baths, a living room, dining area, kitchen, an option of family courtyard or family enclave, and provision for a one-car garage. The nominator also received P50,000 in cash.
“Owning a home has always been a dream for us Filipinos. It’s important for us to be able to provide safe environment f and vibrant community for our family. However, there are many hardworking Filipinos who don’t own a home despite toiling for years. It is our joy to help them achieve that dream, “said Richard Tay, PRO-FRIENDS’ Vice President for Sales and Marketing.
The entries were judged based on the contest criteria, giving more weight to the story value. Award-winning director and broadcast journalist Cesar Apolinario joined the PRO-FRIENDS executives in judging all the entries.
ProFriends is behind Lancaster New City and Bellefort Estates in Cavite and Parc Regency Residences in Iloilo. It has 11 on-going projects and 15 completed projects.
